The intent of the FAQ database is to provide general academic advising. The purpose of the Live Help program is to provide SCCCD students with an additional option to work with a counselor for academic advising purposes only. The online academic counseling session is live and is a recorded session. The online academic counselors can assist all SCCCD students regardless of their main location. SCCCD Online OrientationAttention New Students - Take advantage of the State Center Community College District (SCCCD) Online Orientation! It provides information to assist you in becoming familiar with the many educational programs and services offered at the North Centers and District-wide. For students who plan to take classes at Fresno City College, successfully completing the orientation will clear the orientation hold. You can access the orientation via the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at: counseling.scccd.eduThe purpose of the SCCCD online orientation is to provide first time college students with an additional option to review the district’s policies, procedures, programs, and services. This is not intended to replace the face-to-face orientations provided by the colleges and centers. First time to college students right out of high school are still strongly encouraged to attend the Orientation and Registration-To-Go services offered at feeder high schools.
