Virtual Pizza with the President

Mar 27, 2020

Hello Madera & Oakhurst Students,

I hope each of you are staying safe and healthy during the shelter in place order. Additionally, I hope the transition to online has gone well  (all things considered) and ask for your patience as we navigate this transition. We have also asked that our faculty be flexible with you during this shift.

Please know that your success is at the forefront of the work that we are doing; our focus is to make sure that we provide as many resources and support during this transition.

In an effort to stay connected and keep you informed of all the changes that are coming your way, I would like to host a Virtual Pizza with the President on Wednesday, April 1st, 2020, from 2pm-3pm. This session will be recorded and closed captioned to accommodate those of you that need this resource.

Below are some topics I am planning to discuss (topics may be modified depending what happens between now and next Wednesday, April 1, 2020):

  • Graduation
  • Accreditation update
  • Virtual Counseling
  • Tips on staying focused
  • Academic Resources: Canvas, Zoom
  • Personal Resources
  • Close: Q & A
