Last Summer semester checkout date for calculators, laptops, and Wi-Fi hotspots 

Madera Community College Center Students, there are calculators, laptops, and Wi-Fi hotspots available for checkout.
The last day of summer semester checkouts will be Wednesday, June 24th between 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (One day only).
Location: Madera Community College Center, outside of TM-11(cafeteria) in a drive-thru fashion.

If you are enrolled in summer classes, and still need laptops or hotspots, you can renew them through the end of summer by calling (559) 675-4879 or e-mailing with your student ID and item barcode. If you will need a calculator for a math class during the Summer contact the library to renew at

Due to the unprecedented challenges that COVID-19 has placed on the library, the following changes in hours and services will be occurring:

From Thursday, March 19, 2020 through the end of the Spring Semester, which is Friday, May 22, 2020, only online services will be available.

Late fees will not be charged during the time the campus is closed. Return items when the library reopens. The date the library and campus will reopen is uncertain; we will update you as we find out more information.

Summer Semester hours and services are still being decided, so the below Information is subject to change.

Faculty & Students

Remote services will continue to be offered daily.  You can access the databases and library catalog ANYTIME of day.  You can also schedule an appointment, Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm with the librarian. Emailed questions will be answered within 24 hours, although questions asked on Friday may not be answered until the following Monday.
